Impressions of Chicago 《芝加哥印象》, 122 x 274 cm, was created in 1993 for the new International Terminal at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The work was commissioned through the City of Chicago's Sister Cities International Program. Zheng Bo represented Shenyang, one of Chicago's sister cities. The mural became part of the airport's permanent public art collection.

About
Zheng Bo (b. 1957, Shenyang) is an oil painter and Professor of Oil Painting at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts. His work has been selected six times for the National Exhibition of Fine Arts of China. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and the Chinese Oil Painters Society.
His practice spans landscape, figurative painting, gestural abstraction, and large-scale public murals. It is shaped by sustained travel and field research across China, including Tibet, Xinjiang, the Silk Road region, the Yellow River basin, and Yunnan.
Public collections include Chicago O'Hare International Airport and the Tibet Autonomous Region Government Hall in Naqu. His wider research has also taken him to Europe, Northern Europe, and the United States.
